DESCRIPTION:U.S. adults collectively lose billions of dollars annually to scams and fraud\, and the growth in these crimes is skyrocketing. Fraudsters seek to steal from everyone\, regardless of age\, race\, gender or socioeconomic status\, and the financial and emotional impacts are especially devastating. This presentation will arm you with information and strategies that help you reduce your risk of being scammed. You’ll learn about: fraud fundamentals\, top scams targeting Pennsylvanians\, important scam warning signs to watch out for\, practical tips to reduce the risk of being defrauded\, and how and why to report fraud.
