Art Reception: Carol Hillestad
November 6 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Stop by to chat with Carol about her photography display and enjoy some light refreshments.
The science writer Michael Pollan wrote that “art can reveal the deep
strangeness of things we take for granted.” With that idea in mind, Carol
Hillestad’s new exhibit at the library presents 30 photos of what she calls “the
faces of trees” — oddities of imagination as much as they are documents of
reality. Whatever else they may inspire in you, one or two of the photos will likely
make you smile. On display through November 30 in the Weiler Room.
